I agree with what someone else has said Seek.com is not interested in removing scam adds. I contacted them via phone and they told me they couldn't do anything, they couldn't even be bothered to escalate the matter. Cannot remember now when this happened but it did happen.

I also contacted a big national company and warned them that there were scam advertisements but I don't think they escalated the matter either.

Shows how caring both these companies are NOT.

Company reviews seem fake. Submitted a few over the years and they have not published the highly critical ones. I personally believe this is an unethical practice that can lead applicants to accept a job with a highly rated company when the experience is the company is toxic. Wouldn't trust them and what about the 5 star reviews with current employees

Very inaccurate job searches. I signed up to get notifications for legal roles and instead I get completely irrelevant ads for jobs like procurement officer. Not helpful at all.

As a Company searching for staff i would never use them again, try sending them an email and you get no response the platform is about as good as holding a roadside sign when looking for staff, we have advertised twice with extremely limited success so try to contact the company to get some assistance like was our advert no good or why were we getting no suitable candidates, we also at the same time used a free platform (Gumtree) with the same advert and had great success so all i can say from an employers point of view DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

I saw a work from home job advertised on Seek, and after clicking on the ad, it became apparent it was a scam (poor grammar, dubious claims, mixed information). So I did some research on the company and found out it was an Indian-based scam company that asks potential 'employees' for their bank details and personal information, and then sells it on the black market. Many people were subsequently hacked and had money stolen after supplying their bank details and passwords at the request of this company.
I reported it to Seek, thinking they would immediately remove it and take all steps to protect their job seekers from scams, fraud and cybercriminals, but to my surprise, they said they won't be removing the scam company. I checked back a few weeks later, and the scam company is still advertising on Seek, still luring victims in.
I would never use Seek again as now I can't be sure if I'm supplying my personal details to a scammer or a real company. Now I would only use LinkedIn jobs as I have never seen a scam company on LinkedIn so far.

Seek's new "Certsy" qualification verification process is making things worse. My university degree was downgraded to the status of "finished" only, not graduated, thanks to Certsy. I had to wait for them to "verify" me so that my degree status was restored to graduated. What an unnecessary waste of time. The same goes for everybody else who lists their university degree on Seek, all downgraded by default to just "finished" only, not graduated. It's just another reason to despise Seek and spend more time on other job sites; you need to do better.

Many of the advertised jobs appear to not exist (based on contacting advertisers that I knew personally), it is also impossible to apply for many of the advertised positions without registering with Seek.

Seems to me on many job seeking website there are fake jobs advertised for sign ups.

Seek is the only way to search for jobs in Australia. The new job seekers tools that allow you to track applications are very delightful.

The interface can be a little clunky, but it's bearable for the search quality.

Many company reviews are fake. I have noticed a few, and spoke to other people about some employers. Many of the company reviews are clearly paid advertising. I have reported this to SEEK but they have done noting about it.

Good website to find many job openings!

Used to be an ok site. Tried advertising on it recently. Dog piled by agencies trying to get my business. Got hardly replies from actual applicants. Not value for time or money.
